About InfoWizz

InfoWizz is a Cape Town based knowledge management consultancy set up in 2003. Over time, InfoWizz's business has become the providing of practical knowledge-related services to clients, with the purpose of optimising efficiencies in the workspace. The principal consultants have more than 20 years of experience in the field of research and knowledge management, having worked successfully in the academic, NGO, private and government sectors in South Africa.

InfoWizz is 100% black and woman-owned. 100% of InfoWizz staff is from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. 75% of InfoWizz staff is female.

We consider our business model to be a creative one, and we are justifiably proud of our success rate with our staff and our clients. We have experience in significant developmental government projects in our chosen field of specialisation. We believe we are an exciting company, with experience in a range of products and a compelling skills set.

Our core focus

InfoWizz has a keen interest in the utilisation of our knowledge and skills for social and economic development. As a result, most of our projects are in the ICT4Development arena. Furthermore, we have identified this as a key priority in our recruitment strategy as well. InfoWizz hand-picks and employs graduates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. We equip them with research, content management, knowledge management and information technology skills i.e. giving them the full benefit of our background and experience. We then expose them to the client environment on our projects, first as interns, and later as properly functional members and valuable resources on the project team. In this way, we equip them with skills that are scarce in South Africa, and were previously the preserve of a privileged few. It is our intention to create entirely new career opportunities for our staff, and we do this by developing their skill sets and exposing them to environments which open the doors to a whole new realm of possibilities.
