Rasagee Pillay is the founder of InfoWizz, which has been in business since mid-2003. InfoWizz is a company specializing in knowledge management, content management and research, with an increasing focus on online local content creation and ICT for development projects.
Rasagee has also done a great deal of project management work, specifically on content and knowledge management, strategy development, and software development projects. InfoWizz works primarily for the public sector and small businesses, believing that bolstering our public service and developing our entrepreneurial spirit is key to our country's survival and growth. InfoWizz has a team of experienced researchers and content creators, web designers and web developers.
Rasagee has an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Music, specializing in Ethnomusicology. She also has a further postgraduate qualification in Library and Information Science. She has worked in the public, academic, NGO and private sectors in South Africa. Before starting InfoWizz, she managed Accenture's Knowledge Management department in their Cape Town office for almost 5 years. Previous to this, she has worked for a provincial government, a municipality, IDASA, the Robben Island Museum and the HSRC.

Since starting InfoWizz, Rasagee has consulted to the Provincial Government of the Western Cape, the City of Cape Town, and a few small businesses in Cape Town.
Rasagee is married to Nirvesh Sooful, a former CIO for the City of Cape Town, who is now focussed on social entrepreneurship. They have 2 sons, Devlin and Kaden, and live in Cape Town.
